AGENCY Recap: Prologue
Day 0: Saturday
A beautiful December night…
With nothing better to do, Detective Pink Panther was stationed at his office doing paperwork while his secretary was away. She was not very good at her job, so she had left him plenty of trouble to rifle though. Mostly permits and bills to skip over for yet another month. There were no upcoming cases at all because there was no need for detective work in a town where absolutely nothing happens. The crime drought started when Tortimer became Mayor. Good for the city; just not for business.
A client? A favor?
The detective suddenly received a visit from Krystal McCloud, who was desperately searching for someone who wasn’t directly working with the police, government or military to help her out. It was because her husband, Fox, and their son went missing and the line of work he was involved in was a very sensitive matter. If anyone outside of Talfryn found out Fox McCloud was missing, it would cause a commotion so large that could put her home in jeopardy.
Within that same hour, the Detective was also visited by Agent 000, a.k.a Secret Squirrel. Secret was also affected by the lack of crime and picked up work as a private eye to make ends meet, usually bugging Pink for tips and driving him nuts. But Mayor Tortimer himself hired Secret (having heard of his secret agent work), completely overwhelming him. The Mayor’s peaceful hometown was being threatened over the sum of an impossible amount of money.
There’s more?
After hearing their stories and giving it some thought, Detective Pink had decided that he would oversee both cases from a distance as he finishes his paperwork, agreeing to coach Secret through his new venture in detective work and asking Krystal to pitch in and find an agent to help them.
One more mystery is added to the mess when Krystal received word that Fox’s underwater military vessel— the Blue Marine— was stolen.
